The popular Schools Conference will return in 2020, on 24th June in Cromwell’s home town of Huntingdon.

The line-up of eminent academics debating subjects of interest to A level students, will be:

• Professor Peter Gaunt, University of Chester
• Dr Jon Fitzgibbon, University of Lincoln
• Dr Joan Redmond, London University
• Dr Kate Peters, University of Cambridge

The theme will be Cromwell himself, and the day will include three debates in the morning between the academics on subjects concerning Cromwell and his life and beliefs. The afternoon session will be an academic-led source workshop, intended to give students a taste of university teaching.
