Cromwell online exhibition

Standing Alone

The most famous statue of Cromwell stands outside the Houses of Parliament at Westminster, whilst in Cambridgeshire there is the statue in St Ives. These two statues were neither the first, nor are they the only ones of Cromwell in this country. None of the four which are known were put up entirely without controversy, and each has a different story.
